Pope Francis Will Name New Cardinals in February 2015 --- Will Family Be a Theme?

For the Second Time in His Pontificate, Francis
Will Name New Cardinals
(Vatican) Pope Francis is going to convene a new Extraordinary Consistory of Cardinals for   the 14th-15th February 2015. As Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi SJ announced, it shall be convened because Pope Francis will appoint new cardinals.
Immediately before the extraordinary consistory the C9 Council of Cardinal Advisors will meet from 9th-11th in February, and from the 12th-13th of February  the Cardinal Consistory will confer on the reorganization of the Roman Curia. In the ordinary consistory in 2014 Cardinal Walter Kasper made his speech about the "New Mercy" which was the official start of the current intra-Church conflicts around Marriage and Sacrament.
Currently, there are 112 papal electors. . By the end of February next year their number will be reduced to 110. A few days later, the Egyptian Cardinal Antonios Naguib will reach 80 years of age. Francis could thus create at least eleven new cardinals  who have not yet reached the age of 80.

Will Consistory Discuss The Family Again?

The C9 Council of Cardinal Advisers will summarize the work on the reform of the Curia and submit their report directly following the ordinary consistory. According to Vatican spokesman Lombardi, it is also likely  that February will bringany decisions regarding the reform of the Curia. Pope Francis concluded this in an interview with the daily newspaper La Nacion for the whole of 2015. Whether the ordinary consistory will discuss again, and address the Annual Synod of Bishops in October 2015 on the family is not known
It will be the second Cardinal survey of this pontificate. On February 22, 2014, Pope Francis  will create19 new cardinals, 16 of which are potential electors. Among them is  Benedict XVI's  appointed CDF, Gerhard Müller, and Prefect of Clergy, Beniamino Stella and Synod Secretary Lorenzo Baldisseri, both of whom were appointed by Pope Francis.

Yes, but what kind of family? I have seen where there are 2 "dads" in the household with kids, call themselves a "family". By the way, thank you eponymous, for not censoring me. I was just kicked off Rorate's twitter page because I pointed out that, in a recent photo, from 2 weeks ago, it showed Pope Benedict XVI sitting at a table with his white skull cap on(reserved for popes only), wearing as usual, the papal coat of arms, and off course we all know he wears the red slippers. I guess the people at Rorate thought I would be confusing the faithful. As if there are not confused already! So much for censorship. Thank you Rorate!

None in Vatican wears red slippers, nor does the boR, neither the Emeritus, I know whose side I must stay on, strong and stuck, let's wait and see, the Master will soon come back.God bless+.

I continue to contest that Rorate Caeli are clueless where Benedict XVI is concerned and have been ever since they became a blog site.Mind you, they are not alone in this complete lack of understanding. He is as subversive as his counterpart liberal modernist successor.

Indeed, The True Master but it cetainly won't be Ratzinger the liberal modernist who never changed, as he himself has always insisted.

Anonymous, sorry to burst your bubble, but, Pope Benedict XVI, continues to wear the red slippers. That is a fact. There is no such title, no such office, and no such department, of pope emeritus. never existed. I want to thank eponymous, again, for not censoring my comments, unlike the fascists at Rorate. I am not trying to confuse anyone. I just pointing out a few things that many people do not notice.

I like Rorate, but they have their thing and their objectives.

This must be the site where old curmudgeons go to die.

Indeed, Benedict XVI must be feeling as his predecessor himself looked shortly before he died - extremely angry.
Thankfully, since 1965 all the enemies of the church have come out of the wood to expose their deceitfulness. Once the aging process takes care of most of them then the church will get back to Tradition in the truest sense. Maybe too priests will say The Holy Mass with a real sense of that spirit of participation which Pope St Pius X desired in the process of restoration which he expressed. One can fully understand how and why the liberal modernists were allowed to assume control and set about wrecking everything. Their day is coming to an end.

I thought the book of Daniel states the great apostasy Wil last until the end of time?

Anonymous said...

Indeed it lasts until the consummation ie the second coming

One way to reconcile the two timeframes is the juxtapose them: ie the the great apostasy ends and Jesus returns at the end of the geriatric generation of Vatican 2
